John D Avolio D.M.D, D-ABDSM
Dr. John grew up in Indiana, PA and received the Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Prior to dental school, he attended Allegheny College with a double-major in Neuroscience and Psychology. Dr. John loves practicing dentistry because it is the perfect blend of science and art. While performing the full scope of general dentistry, he has continued his post graduate studies in such specialties as implant dentistry, veneers, and cosmetic dentistry. In addition, he has completed the extensive Misch International Implant Institute curriculum which is one of the leading dental implant institutes in the world. Dr. John is also a preferred provider for Invisalign. He is also dedicated in helping his patients to sleep better and help treat obstructive sleep apnea and snoring.
Dr. John enjoys outside activities such as hiking, running, golfing, and is an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He and his wife share their home with three dogs. Geno is a certified therapy dog, Oliver is a stellar bird dog hunter with many titles and Colin, who loves to go running and hunt chipmunks.
